Insulating glass units

Insulating glass units with spectrally selective glass minimizes loss of heat, thus decreasing heating costs. Shade of the unit is neutral, causing minimal reflection. At the same time, spectrally selective glass allows daylight to come through, decreasing the need for artificial lighting.

Coefficient of glass unit  thermal transmittance (U) depends on the type of selective coating, the number of chambers in the unit (single or double chamber), width of profiles and the type of gas filling used (argon or krypton).

By using a selective coating SILVERSTAR ZERO in a double chamber glass unit, it is possible to improve the thermal transmittance coefficient Ug up to 0,4W/m2K
